メタル！！！龍5150です。

先日書いた通り実践してみましたよ、過去の曲をYouTubeで公開ってやつを。

過去の曲をYouTubeに公開しようか考えてます

懐かしのシンフォニック東方…の中だと一番最近のになるんでしょうか、曲はLouder than steelです。

すんげーキーが高いんですけどこの曲が収録されてたCD、シンフォニック東方Ⅸは全部こんな感じのクソ高い曲しか収録されておらず、相対的にLouder than steelも普通のキー…という錯覚を起こさせる狂った作品です。

やってみて思った事

新しく曲作るより全然楽なんですけど、がっつりミックスもマスタリングし直してるので結構手間かかりました。

何がアレかと言うと元々パート数が盛り盛りなせいでギターのリアンプとかドラムの音作りとかを省いても朝から晩までくらい時間かけないと仕上がらないという…。

シンフォニック東方はヤバい。

他の曲について

そんなわけなので短期間でたくさん公開！みたいのが時間的に難しいのですが、他の曲も公開しようかと思ってます。

YouTubeの概要欄に書いたのですが、他に「この曲のリマスター聴きたい！」がありましたらコメント欄にでも書き込んでください。

曲によってはちょっと無理な場合もあるかもですが、選曲の参考にしますので。

もう去年、2019年の話ですが2019年7月4日（木）～7月7日（日）にパリで開催されたジャパンエキスポのステージに出演してギター弾いてきました。

ホームページの履歴には書いてあるのですがブログに書くのは先延ばし先延ばしにするうちに1年経ってしまいました…。

やや記憶が曖昧になってますが当時のツイッター投稿と投稿しなかった写真を貼りながら書いてきます。

今回、IRON ATTACK!がジャパンエキスポに出演するにあたって僕はセカンドギターとして出演するための遠征になります。

どの国でもそうなんですけど入国ゲート通過には１時間くらいかかります。

ジャパンエキスポのスタッフさんがお迎えに来てくれました。

送迎車でジャパンエキスポが用意してくれたホテルまで移動。

ホテルに到着、とりあえず買い出し

空港近くの村にあるホテル。今回の渡航では主にこの周辺で過ごします。

控室というか出演者ラウンジの写真は撮ってないのですが、パーティ会場のようなでかい広場と、あと個別にメイクや着替えができる部屋が用意されてました。

上で紹介した出演ゲストの方々も普通に過ごしてて「はぇ～芸能人だ～」と思いました。

ライブステージ

いたれりつくせりなジャパンエキスポに応えるため頑張ってライブします。

今回の渡航で4回あるステージのうち3回はTSUBAMEステージという所でやりました。

なお、わかりやすいようにジャパンエキスポのマップをここに貼ろうと思い、探したんですけどネット上で見つからなかったんですよね…。なんでじゃ…。

TSUBAMEステージはコミケの企業ブースにステージ組んでるような感じです。

というわけで、この日から毎日出演しましたTSUBAMEステージでの様子です。

凄いおいしかったです。

午前中にイベント会場のTSUBAMEステージで演奏して、その後で大きい会場で出演です。

連日ステージに出ているからか、会場を歩いていると色んな所でサインや写真を求められるようになってきました。

店先のキャデラックを見つけてすぐに「あれにしません？」と提案し食事をとることに。

そして平井さん、おおはしゃぎ。

何故か突然「いやー楽しいねぇ！！金いる！？」とか言い出す始末。

コーラ！ビール！ハンバーガー！！！！

これがフランス料理じゃーい！！！！（２回目）

さらに部屋飲み

帰りに買ったワインでさらに部屋飲みを実施。

ソムリエナイフはIRONさんの私物です。

4日目　観光、そして帰国

最終日です。

帰りは２グループに分かれての行動で、IRON-CHINOさん、まいなすいょんさん、平井さんはもう数日フランスに滞在します。

僕、YAMA-Bさん、Mikawaの３人はこの日に帰ります。

その前に観光だ！！

警備のためにたくさん警察がいました。

フランス来るのは２度目なんですけど実はエッフェル塔に来るのは初めてです。

すごい！！まるでパリですね！！！

観光を終え、いざ帰国

今回のコンピは昔話をテーマにしたものだったので、元ネタである大江山の鬼伝説をテーマにして制作しました。

日本の昔話に詳しくなかったのでこの制作のために色々読んだりしました。

図書館のサイトで絵巻とか見れる事を今回始めて知りました。

提供曲の内容について

コンセプト物らしく押しと引きを意識した作りになっており、頑張った構造のつもりです。

歌に関してはみーやさんには通常の歌ものパートを担当してもらい、僕がグロウルとあと東方デスロードで披露したようなメタメタ声でのハイトーンパートを担当しました。

みーやさんが人間、僕が鬼、みたいな感じです。

あと編曲についてはヘヴィなギターとジャキジャキなギターをどうやって組み合わせようかなぁ？というのを最近は考えておりまして、この曲ではその成果を披露してます。

この組み合わせは音域的には相性が良いのですがプレイも機材チョイスも結構気を使わないと嘘くさくなるので難しかったです。

EDMの要素が強めの展開もあったりで、何種か出てくるリフは全部お気に入りです。

特設サイトのサンプルではサビをちょっとしか聴けないのでアレなのですが、CDをゲットしてフルで聴いてくれたら嬉しいな。

内容について

とにかく自分の心の声を偽ることなく、湧き上がるメタルスピリットを詰め込みました。

ヘヴィメタルをやるコツは世界観を愛していて、ヘヴィメタルは最強だと信じている事、というのがポイントだと思うんですよ。

その世界観、価値観を東方の世界に落とし込んだ作品となってます。

歌詞的には「HEAVY METAL FORCE」と「Hail!!」が気に入ってます。

Deatg Road

今回は人生初のメロデスに挑戦してます。（※02 Death Roadの事です）

メロデスは2005年あたり？に一時期Children of Bodomなどよく聴いてたので基礎教養として通過している事と、IRON ATTACK!のライブでThousand Leavesのコーナーでベース弾いたりしてたので僅かに経験もあります。

なのですが上記以外はあんまり触れてきてないジャンルで、今作を作るにあたって色々と聴いて研究しました。

活動再開にあたって、とにかく自由に、自分のための音楽をやろう！と決めてたので今作のタイトルトラックはそうゆう自由さを象徴しています。

あとDeath RoadではTerra.さんというボーカルと今回初めて一緒にやらせて頂いてます。

YouTubeにデスボイス講座とかアップしてる方なんですけど、まぁめっちゃ凄いな。

Death Roadは最初から自分以外の誰かに歌ってもらうつもりだったんですけど、オケできた時点で思った以上にかっこよく出来たため「自分でも歌えるかも～？」とちょっと思ったんですよ。

まぁ大いなる錯覚で、実際に歌ってみたところ最初のフレーズでキーが高すぎて死にました。

歌ってもらえて本当に助かりましたわ…。

歌とかギターについて

本作ではこれまで僕がメインで歌ってきたシンフォニック東方とはまったく違う発声法で歌ってるのですが、初出は1年前の会場限定CDです。

声が歪み過ぎてて編集で歌を直せない（ソフトが歌声と認識しない）ので扱いが難しいのですが1年かけてある程度コントロール出来るようになってきました。

依頼とか来ないと思いますが何歌ってもメタメタな感じになるので結構楽しい発声です。

あとギターについて今作では「Beyond the past」を除いて全てJames Tylerで弾いてます。

これまで行ってこなかったダウンチューニングも積極的に取り入れていてだいぶ雰囲気変わった…つもりです。

アンプの音は全曲、Kemperの5150-Ⅲのリグデータで作ってます。

それからの事

更新してない間にですね、JORMUNGANDのアーティスト写真撮ったり、MV撮って公開したり、レコーディングして新譜発売したりしてました。

近年のコミケは音楽系は２日目が多かった気がするんですけど今年は夏も冬も４日目なんですね。

という訳で冬コミは12/31です。

復帰したからどうこうと言うわけではないのですが、会いに来てくれたら嬉しいな。

というわけで復帰です。

高速で時が流れる音楽の世界で１年間くらいろくに活動してなかった、というのはそこそこのブランクのように思えます。

特に年間何枚もアルバムを出す同人の世界では。

時間が確保できなかったので休止してたのですが、いやー…何と言うか。

音楽をやらないと１年間ってあっという間ですね。

何と言うか、創作活動をしない日々はかなり楽でしたが、「いいのかこれ？」という感覚と「何か作りたいなー」という欲求はありました。

距離を置いてみて初めて音楽をやるのってしんどいもんなんだなぁ、とか思ったほどに。

まぁ、何事も本気でやれば苦しいものだと思いますが。

それと、音楽を作る事やプレイする事で誰かが僕に価値を与えてくれるというのは幸せなものなのだなぁ、と改めて実感しました。

そんなわけで休止中は音楽をやらない幸せと、音楽をやれる幸せの双方を感じていたわけでございます。

このサイトについて

別途分けてたブログの方のコンテンツもこっちに統合したんですけど、引っ越しがうまい具合にいかなかったのでアイキャッチの設定や見出しの設定がうまく引き継げてません…。

アイキャッチを奇跡的に引き継げた記事とその他でアイキャッチのサイズが違うんですけどなんでじゃ。

旧ブログはアフィリエイト向けのデザインだったのですがこっちはだいぶ趣向というか目的が違う構造なのでだいぶ見え方が変わってるので過去の記事についてはモノによっては読みにくいかもしれないです。

なんでこれにしたの？というとSEOを意識しつつ自分個人での活動をもっと推していこう、と思ってのでデザインの変更をしました。

依頼を積極的に受けていこうかなぁ、と。

休止明けとは言えプレイ等については一応裏では簡単なギターの依頼などはこなしてたのでブランクは感じないのですが、趣向に関して変動があり、特に作詞作曲編曲における比重に関する意識がかなり変わったので今後の作品にはそのあたりが反映されていくと思います。

しかし現在既にご依頼を色々引受けている（名前が出ない系の依頼です）のと、今後の活動計画がわりと充実しているのでご依頼希望の方は要相談です；

最初はココでの活動メインで頑張ろうとしてたんですけど作ってる間にまたプランが変わってきてしまった感じです。

2018年冬コミはＣＤ－Ｒで4曲入りの何かを出します。売値は500円の予定です。

既に収録済みで編集中なのですが、詳細についてはもうしばしお待ちください。

ライブをバンバンやってくスタイルにする気はないのと準備を整えるのに半年くらいかかりそうなので現段階で言ってもアレなんですけど…。
